Preparing and empowering the "Over 40" worker for career opportunities in the new economy.



Priscilla Azcueta brings extensive leadership experience in the staffing services industry. Priscilla has impacted many peoples' lives by putting people to work, mentoring new leaders, creating start-ups, developing programs and solutions, and partnering with businesses. Currently she serves as Managing Director for Access2Employment, a new start-up staffing service of TransAccess, a non-profit organization employing people with disabilities and wounded warriors in temporary and fulltime career opportunities with businesses and companies throughout the Greater Bay Area. In addition, she has a real passion for the mission and vision of Phase2Careers to promote the employment and marketability of the over 40 worker.


Jake Bursalyan is the owner & CEO for State Farm Jake Bursalyan Agency. Graduate of San Francisco State University, majoring in Economics, his entire career is involved in Insurance and Financial Consulting. He currently serves on the boards of Phase2Careers, Rotary of San Mateo Sunrise (and Public Relations Director), and other organizations that make a direct impact to the local community.


Chris DeLong is a local CPA and owner of Padgett Business Services where specializes in providing tax and accounting to small business owners. He has nearly 10 years of experience in public accounting and corporate finance. Chris has also worked with students looking to find second careers in the accounting industry by teaching at community colleges.

Barbara Gough



Barbara Gough has spent more than 20 years working in technology media with accounts such as Apple, Intuit and Microsoft. She is the principal of MediaThrive, LLC, specializing in business strategy, customer success and partnership development for small businesses.

During this time her company helped many American/Canadian technology companies implement their first international branding campaigns. Under her management, sales increased from zero to over 10 million.

In addition to her consulting practice, she is currently working with a business partner creating a seminar for entrepreneurs focused on business issues critical to startup founders.


Jennifer Vaida

Jennifer Vaida spent several years working in management training and development, human resources, and corporate administration. Today, she utilizes and leverages much of that expertise in her life coaching practice, helping people of accomplishment identify and attain their "next phase of life" goals. An English, History, and Writing teacher for many years at the college, high school, and middle school levels, Jennifer appreciates that Phase2Careers values training and education as an integral part of its commitment to seasoned workers.



Ron Visconti has extensive experience in workplace issues and has helped all levels of job seekers of all levels navigate through difficult transitions and career change. He brings passion and boundless energy to his mission: helping the "Over 40" worker. He brings a sense of community to every organization he has worked with. He has also served on numerous committees involving workplace issues, disabilities, and volunteerism.
